ARC CEO retiring next year
Airlines Reporting Corp’s long time president and CEO Mike Premo will retire at the end of 2020.
Succession planning has already been completed with the ARC board electing current EVP and chief operating officer Lauri Reishus as Premo’s replacement.
Reishus takes over on January 1, 2021.
Premo joined ARC in 2006 as business development VP and has been CEO since 2011.
"ARC has truly transformed from a service organization to a leader in enabling air travel retailing. I’m proud of how my ARC colleagues continue to meet the challenges facing our customers head-on," Premo said.
"As an integral part of ARC’s executive team, Lauri has helped to skilfully renew its culture to one that is customer-oriented, while laying the groundwork for ARC’s ongoing transformation and growth."
Reishus joined ARC in 2005 as general manager, industry products and services.
She was then promoted to VP of operations and then COO.
She began her career with American Airlines as a customer service representative and later worked for Gelco Travel.
ARC offers air travel distribution, ticket settlements and data services.
Last year it settled $94.8 billion in transactions between airlines and travel agencies, accounting for more than 295 million passenger journeys.
