Ash cloud disrupts flights Down Under
The ash cloud caused by a volcanic eruption in Chile is continuing to disrupt flights in Australia, New Zealand, Chile and Argentina.
Some airlines resumed services today after a weekend of cancellations but Qantas flights to and from New Zealand and Tasmania remain suspended.
Air New Zealand has resumed services, but it has altered its flight paths to avoid the plume of ash from the Puyehue volcano.
British Airways was forced to cancel some flights to Argentina last Friday, but it said all services were now operating normally. However, passengers are advised to continue to check the status of their flights before travelling to the airport.
