Aurora Expeditions appoints new Asia sales chief
Australian cruise operator Aurora Expeditions has appointed industry industry veteran Steve McLaughlin as new sales chief for Asia Pacific.
McLaughlin joins Aurora as Director of sales for Asia Pacific after a long career spanning three decades with brands such as Cunard, Ponant, Lindblad Expeditions, Orion and Oceania Cruises.
"His impressive and extensive sales experience ensures he will bring a wide range of perspectives and know-how to our business," said CEO of Aurora Expeditions, Monique Ponfoort.
McLaughlin said he is excited to join the company ahead of the upcoming delivery of its second purpose-built ship, the Sylvia Earle, and new voyages scheduled for 2022.
Aurora was voted ‘The World’s Leading Polar Expedition Operator’ at the World Travel Awards 2020.
