Avani Hotels names Javier Pardo new operations VP
Avani Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Javier Pardo as new vice president of operations.
Pardo will report directly to Minor Hotels COO, Robert Kunkler at the regional office in Bangkok.
Pardo is responsible for operational and financial performance for the brand, as well as leading new brand initiatives tied to a refresh programme launched at the end of 2018.
He has gained more than two decades of hospitality experience across Europe and was most recently director of operations and commercial director for NH Hotel Group.
"We are confident that under Javier’s leadership our relationships with our business and hotel partners will continue to thrive and grow," Kunkler said.
"Avani continues to expand our current portfolio of 24 properties in 15 countries with more than 20 hotels in the pipeline in South East Asia, South Korea, Australia, Tunisia, the Maldives, and the UAE."
