A UK bed and breakfast search option has been added by travel price comparison website travelsupermarket.com.

Users can compare prices of more than 3,000 B&Bs in the UK from over 20 website providers including independent accommodation specialist eviivo, Laterooms, Active, Superbreak, ebookers.com and Opodo.

The site offers users information on each B&B including, accommodation amenities, photographs, a location map, plus any professional and user reviews.

Alexis Garrick, hotels manager at travelsupermarket.com, said: “The public has a longstanding love affair with the British B&B and appreciate the more personal touch they offer. The new function helps visitors to the site find the best prices on accommodation that suits them.

“The new facility allows small and medium-sized accommodation providers to increase their internet exposure and sell their rooms online in real-time. travelsupermarket.com gives them a great platform to distribute to a very wide audience.”
