Big demand in India for ‘vaccine vacations’
Travel agents have been inundated with calls from Indian residents seeking a fast-track solution to a Covid vaccination. Agents are fielding hundreds of calls from customers keen to visit the UK to get a Covid jab.
So-called ‘vaccine vacation’ packages are being tentatively developed for the UK and the US, but there is no certainty yet whether non-residents will get access to the vaccine, even at a premium. Even if they get approval, is a ‘vaccine vacation’ ethical?
