Blackstone in talks to buy Village Hotels

Village Hotels could soon have a new owner.
Private equity giant Blackstone is in exclusive discussions to buy the company.
Sky News reports Blackstone has a period of exclusivity to negotiate a deal.
Village Hotels was put up for sale earlier this year.
It has a valuation of about £850 million.
The hotel chain’s portfolio includes more than 30 UK locations.
It is currently owned by private equity firm KSL Capital Partners, which paid De Vere Group £485 million for the business a decade ago.
