A travel blog has been introduced by car rental firm Dollar on its UK website, http://www.dollarblog.co.uk.
The blog features fresh, first-person content from travel writers, providing users with suggestions on destinations.
Writers featured on the site will include Jeremy Head, who writes and commissions destination guides, travel features and blog content for some of the UK’s largest airlines and tour operators.
Also contributing to the Dollar UK blog is Paul Oswell, a freelance travel writer who is a regular contributor to the Daily Mail, The Guardian and the Sunday Times Travel Magazine.
Managing director European sales Tom Knopek said: “Dollar wants to provide thoughtful, accessible content for our customers who are considering driving destinations in the U.S. and other fun holiday spots.
“Our blog will share tips on what to expect when driving outside of one’s own country, plus we’ll make recommendations for sightseeing adventures, driving trips and idyllic stops along the way.
“We hope travellers will find it helpful and that it will pave the way toward a more enjoyable travel experience when booking their next rental car.”
