The Brazilian floods and mudslides have killed around 40 people and caused hundreds more to go missing.
The disaster has washed away tens of thousands of homes in northeastern Brazil, in the state of Alagoas.
UK operators to Brazil say the floods have not affected tourism as the area is “way off the beaten track.”
A spokesman for Explore and also Sunvil Latin America said: “The affected area is not on the tourist trail. Explore does not take its customers anywhere near the area. Sunvil does do tailor-made tours where people do stray off tourist routes but it has noone in that area.”
He added: “However, both operators are keeping an eye on the situation to see how it develops in Brazil.”
