Brazil launches UK trade marketing push
Visit Brazil Travel Association has launched a marketing push with UK agents to capitalise on the country’s exposure during the World Cup.
VBRATA UK is training agents on how to sell Brazil, especially beyond Rio and the obvious destinations in three roadshows this week, Brighton, Manchester and Glasgow.
Chris Fuzinatto, chairman of VBRATA Europe said: "2014 has already been a year of huge significance for Brazil, having just hosted the world’s most famous football tournament!
"This showcased much of our beautiful country as the media covered not just football, but our culture, gastronomy, people and landscapes.
"We are keen to build on this and help agents sell not just the obvious cities and regions, but the stunning lesser-known destinations as well. We’ve had a tremendous response to our roadshows, with approximately 170 agents registering to attend."
