Briton drowns in Cambodia
A British tourist has died while snorkelling at a coral reef near the island of Koh Rong.
Thirty-two year old Aisha Roberts was travelling with a group of friends who had hired a boat to take them to the reef.
They are not believed to have taken a guide with them.
When she didn’t return to the boat, her friends started to search for her, but her body wasn’t found until the following day by staff from the Koh Rong dive centre.
A post-mortem revealed she had drowned.
A member of staff from the dive centre told Cambodian media that the sea in the area can be rough, causing people to get into difficulty.
