Broker handled 125 hotel transactions during 2013
National hotel brokerage firm Hotel AG says it was involved in the advising or selling of 125 hotels during 2013.
The Atlanta, Georgia based company finished the year strongly, with 21 sales completed during November and December, contributing to a four-fold rise in 4th quarter closings compared to 2012.
Specializing in select service and full service hotels in the US, the company handled a diverse range of brands for clients during 2013 including Courtyard by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn and Residence Inn.
Hotel AG principal H. Keith Thompson said: "2013 was a good year for Hotel AG. The transactions were across the spectrum in terms of branding, product type, pricing, buyer and seller profile and valuation methodology. The current real estate cycle is very diverse and demanding in terms of client expectations."
Hotel AG has around 176 hotels currently on the market with a market value of $2.2 billion and has a network of 15 national brokers.
