Business travellers want corporate agents
Business travellers want experienced corporate travel agents to take care of their travel plans.
Some 64% of those surveyed said this was top of their list of needs, while 12% demanded a hands-on service and only 8% claimed waivers and favours, such as free upgrages on flights, was most important to them.
The figures were revealed by Guy Snelgar, head of sales UK and Ireland, for Amadeus.
He claimed travellers of the future will be increasingly demanding.
"In the future, travellers will want a more personal option and expect a smoother door-to-door experience," he said.
"The industry also needs to be more sustainable."
