Bye bye World Cup 2010, hello Brazil 2014

Just when you thought the football was all over, prepare for Brazil.

The destination used the closing stages of the 2010 FIFA World Cup to launch its own tourism campaign which is part of its lead-up to hosting the 2014 tournament.

Launched by Brazilian tourism board Embratur, the campaign features a slogan ‘Brazil is calling you!’ and will see TV, newspaper and magazine adverts extolling Brazil’s virtues plus a social media drive.

Brazil hopes to boost visitor numbers to the country by 300% over the next 10 years.
