Carnival Cruise Line taking travel agent road trip

Carnival Cruise Line is taking a road trip next month hoping to play sweet music with travel agency partners along the way.

The ‘Agentpalooza ‘bus tour is coming to six US cities during a week-long trip from May 11 offering 1,000 agents the chance to meet and engage with the Carnival sales team.

Chief roadie is Adolfo Perez, Carnival’s SVP of sales and trade marketing who will meet up with agents as the bus travels to Houston, New Orleans, Charleston, Atlanta, Jacksonville and Orlando.

"Travel agents like to forge a real relationship with the brand and suppliers and this gives us the opportunity to meet with a lot of them in a really fun way," Perez said.

"It’s about celebrating our travel agent partners. We had a great Wave season and this is a way to celebrate our success."

There will be on-on-one meetings, presentations and entertainment at each stop including a live DJ, photo booth and lawn games.

There will also be a social impact element to help local causes in each of the cities.

"We have continued the theme from our popular ‘Travel Agents Rock’ campaign, and named these festival-style events "Agentpalooza," which we think really captures the celebration of our amazing rock star travel partners," added Perez.
