Change at the top at Shearings Holidays
Jane Atkins has been appointed managing director of Shearings Holidays.
Atkins, previously international sales director for Superbreak, joined Shearings Leisure Group in May.
Her promotion comes as Shearings confirmed its commercial director, Caroline Brown, is to leave the business after eight years.
Richard Calvert, chief executive of Shearings Leisure Group, said: "Jane has an impressive track record of success, with leadership in the field of sales, product, service and value generation.
"Jane’s appointment demonstrates our ambition and commitment to the exciting and sustainable growth for this iconic brand. She will take up her role immediately and will report directly to me."
He added: "Caroline Brown has decided to stand down from her role as commercial director of Shearings Holidays and I would like to thank Caroline for her significant contribution and service over the years and wish her well for the future."
