Chile hit by earthquake
A large earthquake struck off the coast of central Chile early today, which was felt in the capital, Santiago.
The 6.3 quake was followed by a 5.1 aftershock around half an hour later.
It occurred in the Pacific Ocean, close to the tourist town of Ovalle in the Limari Valley, 200 miles north west of Santiago. Reports said buildnigs in the capital shook.
So far there are no reports of any damage or serious injuries.
