China Airlines, ITA Airways agree airline codeshare partnership
Taiwan based China Airlines has inked an airline codeshare agreement with Italy’s ITA Airways.
To kick it off, the airlines will codeshare on China Airlines’ Taipei-Rome service.
The route operates three times a week.
ITA will place its code on the flight and offer onward connections throughout Italy.
These include services to Venice, Turin, Florence, Bologna, Palermo, and Catania.
China Airlines’ Taipei to Rome flights are on new Airbus A350-900s.
A three-class service offers Business Class, Premium Economy and 243 seats in Standard Economy.
CAL is adding a sixth European route from Taipei to Prague later this month.
It also flies to Vienna, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and London.

Congratulations to China Airlines for choosing a good potential partnership. Asian travelling to Europe can have a chance to stop over Taiwan for sightseeing, shopping and not forgeting the delicious food served and also all the Night Markets in Taiwan.
