Chris Thompson bids farewell to Brand USA
Chris Thompson has ended his tenure as President and CEO of Brand USA, and has been reflecting on his time at the inbound tourism agency.
He is replaced by Fred Dixon, CEO of NYC Tourism + Conventions (formerly NYC & Company).
“Leading our nation’s destination marketing organization over the last 12 years has been my most challenging, exciting and fulfilling professional experience.”
“The future is bright, and I am excited to see the continued growth and impact of this incredible organization under the very capable leadership of Fred Dixon,” Thompson said.
“I have traveled the country and the world and been inspired by hundreds of the most committed, creative, innovative and seasoned colleagues.”
Dixon will supervise all Brand USA’s operations with a focus on the next phase of growth.
“I will work closely with Fred and our Board of Directors to ensure a seamless transition,” Thompson added.
