CLIA Australasia strengthens trade relations leadership
Cruise Lines International Association has beefed up its Australasian leadership team to better support its travel agent membership and corporate partners.
It made two new hires to build engagement and support training of trade partners.
Robyn de Wit joins as membership development manager and is tasked with growing the CLIA membership and provides support and development to maximise membership benefits.
She has over 20 years’ experience in the travel and training sector and began her professional career as a cruise agent in Perth with Travelscene.
She held roles in sales, business development and operations along with training and development positions for companies including Energy Travel and Creative Holidays.
CLIA also announced the hiring of Joanne Nichols as instructional design and development manager.
She will be responsible for implementing new technology into CLIA’s Learning Academy.
Her professional background is in education, e-learning and tech.
"Robyn and Joanne both bring specialised knowledge and extensive experience to their roles, giving CLIA the ability to better cater to its membership and introduce new services," said CLIA Australasia managing director, Joel Katz.
