Close up and personal in the luxury box with 54Sports

A new U.S. company  is offering small corporate groups behind-the-scenes access to top sporting events.

54Sports promises to "take our clients inside the ropes, down on the sidelines and up to the luxury box" at events like the Masters, Wimbledon, and the Kentucky Derby.

The focus is on very high-end corporate groups of 12 to 30 people, "where we can offer good service and great access that larger groups cannot get", 54Sports partner Robert Miller told TravelMole.

The company also specialises in trips "in and around the golf space", including finding a location, transportation, food and beverage, and, of course, golf.

Miller and his partners have been in the business for more than 20 years, and had the idea for 54Sports over the past two years, as they began to see corporate customers returning to the green.

"The corporate market is coming back at a higher level and in smaller groups, with more key executives bringing peer groups of customers," Miller said. "We feel the time is right for our high-end, high-touch programmes."
