Comtec updates TravelCat
Travel technology company Comtec has updated its TravelCat back-office management system to reflect changing consumer booking patterns.
New developments include SMS messaging and automated email facilities for customer documentation.
In addition, the TravelCat system has been integrated with Comtec’s Travelink dynamic packaging technology to enable agents to combine flexible travel selling with automated administration and reporting tools.
There are further plans to introduce a web-based front-end for TravelCat, called TravelCatPlus, making the booking and back-office process more efficient.
Comtec’s sales director Richard Turner said: “These latest upgrades reflect the way our customers tell us they increasingly want to do business.”
TravelCat is used by Going Places, Thomas Cook, Hays Travel and Travel Counsellors.
