Concordia captain weeps on deck of wreckage
The captain of the Costa Concordia cruise ship has returned to the wreck for the first time since it capsized off the coast of Giglio more than two years ago, killing 32 people.
Francesco Schettino is reported to have wept as he was taken to stand on the deck of the wreckage as part of his manslaughter trial.
He denies charges of manslaughter and abandoning ship. If he is found guilty he faces a jail sentence of up to 20 years.
The 4,000 passenger cruise ship was righted last September in a complex salvage operation, but it remains stranded.
