Condor Airlines resuming seasonal New Orleans service next year
German leisure airline Condor Airlines will once again fly twice a week nonstop from New Orleans to Frankfurt for summer 2018.
The airline ended 2017 seasonal flights last week and has confirmed it is coming back to Louis Armstrong International for a second season, beginning May 17 through September 30.
Jens Boyd, director of long-haul and revenue management for Condor’s parent Thomas Cook Group, says there has been strong demand in the market.
"Our Condor flights still are the only nonstop service from New Orleans to Germany, and the bookings so far clearly showed that Louisianians love our service," Boyd said.
Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays.
Other US destinations serviced by Condor include Seattle and Pittsburgh and Condor will also add a flight from Phoenix to Germany in 2018.
