Costa Cruises announced its new schedule for 2004-2005.

Costa’s eastbound transatlantic cruises from Ft. Lauderdale to Sevona (Genoa) in 2005 begin with a 16-night voyage aboard the Costa Atlantic 10 April. That will be followed by a 16-night sailing of the Costa Mediterranea.

Rates begin at $1,319 per person, double occupancy.

The two ships both offer “cruising Italian style. “ According to Costa, that means authentic Italian cuisine, excellent service, nightly production shows, a busy casino and non-stop activities.

Costa also announced its fall line-up of westbound voyages sailing from Genoa, Italy, to Ft. Lauderdale, its winter home during the Caribbean season.

The Costa Atlantica is offering a 17-night cruise leaving 4 November for Barcelona, Spain, and several other stops that include San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The Costa Mediterranea departs 7 December from Genoa for a 14-night cruise to pots that include Gibraltar, the UK, and Freeport, Bahamas, among other stops.
