Creative Holidays goes direct sell
Creative Holidays has relaunched the www.ineedaholiday.com.au consumer web site which it bought in April, appearing to be the first step as anticipated by TravelMole in April [please see https://www.travelmole.com/stories/1117660.php] of the Travel Corporation going direct sell, with in this case, being able to book Creative Holidays direct without going through an agent.
Travel Corporation brands have always stressed their commitment to the trade and only selling through agents, saying in April that their purchase of ineedaholiday.com.au was to enable them to enter the incentive market so that Creative Holidays could supply content to loyalty program databases, owned by the Leapfrog Group.
It is not clear why it was necessary for Creative to relaunch ineedaholday.com.au as a publicly accessible web site to achieve that and with Justin Montgomery, Creative’s MD currently overseas, he is not available for comment until later today.
What is clear though from the ineedaholiday.com.au site is that a wide range of Creative product can now be booked direct by consumers with the site easily found through search engines.
