Cunard Line has released new fares for QE2’s last ever voyage from Santiago to Sydney, as she gives her royal wave goodbye to the world.

After sailing the seven seas for more than 40 years, the legendary liner will embark on her 26th and final world voyage in January 2008, before leaving the Cunard fleet in November 2008 to become a floating hotel in Dubai.

In a fitting farewell, she will rendezvous in Sydney with her new sister ship, Queen Victoria, who will be making her maiden world journey.

Launched by Her Majesty The Queen in September 1967, QE2 has pampered more than 2.5 million passengers, including hundreds of celebrities, and sailed almost 5.5 million nautical miles – more than any ship in history and equivalent to travelling to the moon and back 12 times.

For those who want to experience the last QE2 world voyage, fares are available for an 18-night voyage, departing Santiago on February 6, 2008, and visiting Easter Island, Tahiti, Tonga and Auckland.
