Cruise module added in Traveleye upgrade

Travel agency desktop viewdata portal Traveleye is being enhanced to increase the efficiency of travel agents in the UK, according to parent company ntl Travel.

The company says it is expanding its product suite to help accommodate the needs of independent travel companies by making it easier for them to do business.

Traveleye’s search tool, Tour Operator / Product Provide A – Z List, will allow independent agents to gain quicker, more refined searches. Agents will have access to 41 of the most used keywords, covering 13 regions and 28 products, such as skiing, couples only and short haul, enabling them to offer a more personalised and professional service when booking a holiday.

A cruise module has been added to the product suite allowing all available cruises to be seen on one screen for the first time.

“This is the first of many specialist modules that Traveleye will bring to the market in the coming months highlighting ntl’s commitment to driving innovation in an increasingly competitive marketplace,” the company said.

“This will give them the chance to compete with larger, more established businesses and consumer internet sites where holidaymakers can tailor their own trip.”

Traveleye’s Favourite’s functionality has also been enhanced to save time by providing the ability to identify specific users automatically when they log into the system.

Hoseasons sales director Yvonne Borg said: “We are delighted to be increasing our exposure by appearing for the first time on Traveleye’s new A-Z Screen.

“Viewdata remains an important booking tool for our travel agent customers and we are totally committed to enhancing the booking service we offer them. Equally, we were very impressed with ntl’s technology upgrade programme for the coming year, and feel our high-quality holidays and cruises fit in very well with those plans.”
