CruiseAgents Lands Costa in Asia
SYDNEY: Cruise wholesaler, CruiseAgents, has secured Preferred Sales Agent (PSA) status for the expanding luxury Italian cruise line, Costa Cruises.
Genoa-based Costa Cruises was previously represented solely by Complete Cruise Solution (formally know as Carnival Corporation) but now retail travel agents in Australia, Hong Kong, India and Singapore will have a choice of PSA.
“CruiseAgents will strive to offer something different to what is currently available,” says CruiseAgents managing director, Brett Dudley.
“Because our new arrangement also covers Hong Kong, India and Singapore we believe this will grow Costa’s overall business, rather than take from the other PSA.”
Agents can book any of the 69 Costa itineraries available, including the Mediterranean, northern Europe and Asia, online at www.cruiseagents.travel.
Dudley added, “CruiseAgents’s direct access to Costa’s reservation system ensures travel agents get immediate confirmation.”
Costa Cruises has a total of 15 ships in active service and eight on order. All ships fly the Italian flag and operate in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, South America, Dubai and the Far East.
