Cruisers happy with ‘tech-free’ cruise
Most holidaymakers would welcome a ‘tech-free’ cruise according to research from an independent online cruise travel agency.
Bonvoyage.co.uk found that 57%, would like to go on a ‘tech-free’ cruise; with 39% explaining that they’d welcome the opportunity for a ‘detox’ from their usual tech-filled environment.
18% admitted that they found the presence of tech gadgets on board ‘stressful’.
Steph Curtin, cruise development manager of bonvoyage.co.uk, said: "Holidays are usually the perfect opportunity to relax and get away from our daily routines, including the gadgets that we all use for work and in our spare time.
"It’s not surprising to see that the majority of cruisers would jump on-board with a tech-free cruise. Nowadays, most people will happily admit to being addicted to their gadgets, and rarely have the chance to get away from them!"
