Daish’s Holidays hails coach holiday bookings rise
Family-owned UK coach holiday group Daish’s Holidays has seen positive growth in domestic bookings as demand for staycations remained strong in 2023.
The firm has witnessed increased growth in both annual turnover and coach travel to its dozen hotels.
Both turnover and coach travel volumes have seen increases of almost 10% compared to the previous 12 months.
Daish’s Holidays portfolio offers UK coach and self-drive breaks across England and Wales.
It has carried 95,229 passengers by coach on its fleet of 35 luxury coaches during the last year.
It notes a huge 44% of holidaymakers depart from the west and east Midlands.
Paul Harper, commercial director, says: “We have been delighted with the growth in business over the last year, and anticipate a strong year for coach tourism in 2024.”
While the cost-of-living crisis continues to impact household budgets we recognise the importance to deliver affordable holidays.”
Daish’s Holidays celebrates 45 years as a family-run business in 2024.
It says it has exciting plans in the works for 2024, including further investment to upgrade its coach fleet and the introduction of a new website.
