Disney mandating vaccinations for all US workers
The Walt Disney Co is requiring staff to get vaccinated. It applies to all salaried and non-union hourly employees in the US. The company is discussions with unions over unionised members, which includes theme park workers.
It has set firm deadlines for when first and second jabs must be taken. The company last week announced face masks will be required indoors again at theme parks. It comes as Florida has become the new Covid epicentre with a record 21,000 new cases recorded on Saturday.
