Dollywood hosting new Christian music fest

East Tennessee theme park Dollywood is launching a summertime Christian music festival.

‘Rock the Smokies’ is set for September 5 and will take in place in Dollywood’s Celebrity Theater in partnership with event company Premier Festivals.

The day-long event will feature a host of Christian artists including Third Day and For King & Country.

The full festival line-up can be seen at rockthesmokies.com.

Day tickets for Rock the Smokies includes admission to all existing theme park attractions and go on general sale next month.

Additional Christian artists will also be performing to the public throughout the 150-acre park grounds.

Group discount prices and VIP packages will also be available.
