Dolphin Dynamics extends real-time payment options with new link to Payment Express

Travel software provider Dolphin Dynamics has extended the range of real-time payment collection options for customers following the implementation of a new link to payment service provider (PSP), Payment Express.

The new connectivity enables Dolphin users to cost-effectively process customer payments electronically, both via their Dolphin powered bookable website and in the call centre by entering customer card details into the Payment Express payment page which integrates with the Dolphin back-office system. Using fully encrypted, real-time messaging the solution eliminates time-consuming, offline payment collection processes and thereby enables travel companies to offer a more seamless service to customers.

Importantly, as the system uses Payment Express’ hosted payment page which meets Payment Card Industry (PCI) compliance regulations, this facilitates Dolphin customers meeting their own PCI compliance obligations.

Commenting on the new connectivity, Simon Wakeford, Head Of Strategic Initiatives at Dolphin Dynamics commented, "As a market leading PSP in the region, Dolphin initially chose Payment Express to provide seamless integration of PCI compliant payment solutions via Dolphin to support our expansion in the Australia and New Zealand markets. Capitalising on our successful partnership there, we are now extremely pleased to be able to also offer Payment Express integration to our customers in the UK and Ireland."

Simon Anderson, Head Of Sales EMEA at Payment Express added, "Payment Express is delighted to be working with Dolphin Dynamics – a partnership that ensures our mutual customers within the travel industry benefit from industry leading travel software alongside secure and reliable payment solutions. As both companies extend our global presence we’re looking forward to implementing more Dolphin customers over the coming months."
