Dolphin ‘white labels’ FlightScanner
Dolphin Dynamics is broadening its scope by offering its no-frills booking engine as a white label product. FlightScanner, previously only available to agents, is now available as an internet booking engine that can be incorporated into an agent’s website to adopt its look and feel. The move means customers will be accessing FlightScanner direct through the relevant agency website, and can dynamically package flights with other products on the site. Dolphin hopes the FlightScanner Internet Booking Engine (IBE) will also be popular with tour operators. IBE searches a selected number of the 40 carriers searched by FlightScanner, according to whether the airline has given the go-ahead and whether the client wants access to the carrier. Dolphin president Roberto Da Re said: “The ultimate goal is to facilitate integration projects for those carriers or fares that are not necessarily available via the GDS.” Mr Da Re says Dolphin is now looking to the business travel market and its next product will be aimed at integrating with more complex business travel tools.
