EasyJet growing faster than Ryanair
EasyJet’s passenger numbers rose 3.6% in 2013, growing at a faster rate than Ryanair’s.
The orange low-cost airline saw its numbers climb to 61.3 million, up from 59.2 million in 2012.
In comparison, Ryanair saw its numbers rise by 2.3% last year to 81.4 million.
When it came to average load factor for 2013, easyJet also beat its rival.
EasyJet’s load factor in 2013 was 89.3%, compared to 81% for Ryanair.
