Ecowarriors Combine to Offer Tourism Marketing Workshop
Planeta and Totem Tourism Marketing, two of the web’s foremost experts on responsible travel and marketing, have combined to offer specialist marketing seminars this summer providing hands-on training for those involved in local tourism. As a result of the workshops, it is hoped, participants will be able to use marketing techniques to maximize the potential of their projects.
By the end of the course, participants should be able to create an effective marketing plan including online and offline tools, develop co-operative marketing strategies and learn about current trends and new opportunities. The workshop subjects will include “Making tourism responsible and sustainable”, “Current long- and short-term marketing strategies”, “Global tourism industry trends” and “Communicating in plain English”
The workshop is particularily directed at Tourism Organisations including local, regional and national tourism boards. It will be conducted online from June 5 – June 23 with follow-up conversations . Costs (from US$1,000 per group of 5 participants) will include private tutorials, handouts and consultations. Special rates are available for groups of 6-20 participants. Discounted tuitions may be available subject to circumstances.
