Emirates still in the Race to Dubai
Emirates will continue its partnership with the European Tour by supporting the DP World Tour Championship for the fourth year.
The tournament, from November 14-17, will take place on the Earth Course at Jumeirah Golf Estates.
Emirates has been the official airline of the US$8 million tournament since 2010 and is now in the second year of a three-year partnership with the season-ending finale of The Race to Dubai, which features the top 60 players on The European Tour.
Race to Dubai leader is Sweden’s world No 4 Henrik Stenson, who lived in Dubai from 2003 to 2012.
The Race to Dubai comprises 46 tournaments in 25 countries worldwide and will see a bonus pool of US$3.75 million divided among the leading 10 players at the conclusion of the DP World Tour Championship,
The winner of the tournament itself will collect a cheque for US$1.33 million.
