Endacott-backed The Internet Traveller launched
Dynamic packaging website The Internet Traveller was launched this week with the backing of industry figure Steve Endacott.
The site is the brainchild of Charles Clark and Craig Kean who met whilst working at First Choice and have 25 years of travel industry experience under their belts.
It offers flights from 351 low cost carriers, scheduled and charter airlines, beds at 80,000 hotels worldwide and 4000 car hire locations but Kean says its biggest USP is its ability to react to the market.
He said: “We can adapt what we offer very quickly so as the Turkey season ends, for example, and everyone starts looking at ski or winter sun then we can focus on that. The site is not niche and has masses of variation, offering LCCs as well as charter and schedule, so we can adapt to what the public are looking for and at very competitive prices.â€
He added: “There are some great sites out there already but they often only offer certain areas or types of carriers. That’s where we differ.â€
The site will also incorporate social networking pages offering travellers the opportunity to download holiday pictures and swap tips. There are also plans to develop a cruise product and Eurostar product within the site.
Clark and Kean also plan to launch niche sites in future focusing on Dubai, winter travel and Australia amongst others which they would not divulge.
