Eos adjusts transatlantic schedule

Sunday, 22 Nov, 2005 0

Start-up all business class carrier Eos has brought forward the delivery of a third aircraft to allow for a schedule change.

Flights departing from Stansted to New York will leave at 18.10, arriving at 21.09 the same day from December 1.

The move from a 10.30 departure from Stansted follows customer demand for an evening flight.

With the inbound flight from New York landing at 07.30, the aim is to give New York-originating passengers almost a full day in London.

The airline has been able to make the change after accelerating the delivery of a third aircraft which was originally due to join the fleet in January.

Founder and chief executive David Spurlock said: “Our London-bound business executives have enjoyd moving quickly through Stansted and arriving in short order to their destination in the City by about 09.00. With our schedule change, our guests can now work nearly a full day and arrive in New York in the early evening.”

Eos has been flying the route for almost five weeks.
