Etihad opens interline partnerships with five airlines

Etihad Airways has launched two-way interline partnerships with five new airline partners.

To further expand travel options for passengers, the airline agreed interline pacts with Kam Air in Afghanistan, SKY express in Greece, Rex Airlines in Australia, Jeju Air in Korea and Myanmar Airways International.

The interline agreements give customers of all these airlines more seamless connectivity to destinations across the respective networks.

It enables guests to book their complete journey on a single ticket with baggage checked through to the end destination.

Arik De, Etihad’s Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer, said: “We continue to broaden our network reach enabling seamless connection across our network.”

Rex Airlines offers travellers easier access from Etihad’s gateways in Sydney and Melbourne to 22 destinations in Australia, which include Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra, Brisbane, and the Gold Coast.

With South Korea’s Jeju Air, guests can continue their journey from Seoul to 27 destinations across seven countries in Northeast Asia.

Through journeys with Myanmar Airways International give enhanced access to Yangon and Mandalay through Etihad’s gateways in South Asia.

Etihad now has 123 interline, codeshare and strategic partnerships with airlines around the world.

The expanded interline offerings are available to book now via Etihad sales channels, including Etihad.com and travel agents.
