Ex- Jamaica tourism chief Paul Pennicook to lead Curacao tourism development
Seasoned tourism leader Paul Pennicook has landed in Curacao to lead the island nation’s tourism development.
The former two-time Jamaica director of tourism will lead efforts as managing director and CEO of Curacao Tourism Development Foundation.
Pennicook’s career has spanned the Caribbean, North America and Europe, holding senior positions in both the private and public sectors.
He was EVP of Sandals Resorts’ marketing company, Unique Vacations, and served as senior vice president of Air Jamaica.
"I’m respectful of the century old history of the Curacao Association for the Promotion of Foreign Visits and I’m cognizant of the strides that have been made in recent years to increase tourism arrivals to Curaçao. It will be my privilege to work with industry partners to continue to build on those achievements" Pennicook said.
