Explore broadens Middle East appeal with Ras Al Khaimah and Oman travel options
With travel to the Middle East continuing to grow in popularity, Explore Holidays has further expanded the region’s appeal with the introduction of a new ‘destination within the destination’ – the tiny emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.
One of the United Arab Emirates’ newer tourism faces, Ras Al Khaimah’s five star accommodation, duty free shopping and proximity to Dubai International Airport – just 40 minutes by freeway – has quickly established the destination as an ideal stopover alternative to Dubai.
Prices for Explore Holidays’ ‘Ras Al Khaimah Stopover’ packages lead in at $283* per person twin share based on a four-day/three-night stay at the five-star Al Hamra Village Townhouse.
The package includes daily breakfast, free shuttle transport to both the Ras Al Khaimah Al Manar Mall and Dubai ’s City Centre Mall and return airport transfers.
The Sultanate of Oman also offers a good alternative for those looking to get off the beaten track and see a very different side to the Middle East with a comfortably-paced three-day/two-night ‘Oman Explorer’.
Traversing the region’s rugged mountains and coastline, highlights of the tour include the Bateenah coastal plain, a visit to Sohar, the birthplace of Sindbad, and an in-depth tour of Oman’s capital city, historical Muscat.
Departing from Dubai , the ‘Oman Explorer’ is priced from $1064* per person twin share which includes all accommodation, meals and sightseeing as per itinerary.
Featured accommodation for the package is the five- star Intercontinental Muscat Hotel.
