Farebase releases new versions of fare searches
Farebase have released new versions of fare searches which will greatly assist agents when they are using the Farebase Web Portal.
Agents will now be able to search consolidated, charter and late availability data using the new overhauled systems which have improved functionality, making the search process easier and quicker.
The fare searches offer an on-line alternative to Farebase’s earlier Dos based system where agents had to download a daily update file in order to keep their system up to date. Agents no longer need to download data as it is continuously maintained on the Farebase web servers.
The Portal also has links to other “agent friendly” travel sites, including accommodation, care hire, travel insurance, destination information and weather guides.
Managing Director, Jon Constantine, commented “We will continue to enhance the Farebase Web Portal to assist agents and help them to increase their business using the latest technology tools. These improvements are the next step in our strategy to develop a true travel community portal.”
