1. When do you get started in the Travel industry? 1974
2. What was your first job? Tour Guide around Eastern Europe
3. First freebie famil? Barossa Valley
4. Favorite holiday destination?
India, for some reason I find it incredibly relaxing and the people a joy to deal with.
5. What would you be doing do if you hadn’t got started in travel?
Possibly politics, or working in a little vineyard somewhere in France
6. Favorite music?
I love Pavarotti; I suppose Boys to Men or Kool and The Gang would also be a favorite at the moment.
7. What book did you last read?
A Biography on John Howard, such an interesting little man.
8. Aisle or window seat? No argument, 4A
9. Favorite pastime outside of work?
Breeding and racing pigeons is a passion, I have a couple of beauties I want to take over to the world championships in South Africa next year. I also make a pretty good home brew.
10. First website you log onto each day?
Always try and keep up to date with the Qantas industry website.
11. Best moment of your career to date?
Running Continental Pacific Travel with my partner, we have a great working relationship and still enjoy coming into the office each day. I also love getting to deal with the public each day.
12. Biggest problem facing the industry? Benchmarking mediocrity
