Firefighters investigate blaze at new London hotel
Fire broke out yesterday at a new Ibis hotel being built in west London.
More than 70 firefighters were called to tackle the blaze at the eight-storey building in Ealing. Nobody was injured.
The hotel was due to open this June.
London Fire Brigade told the Evening Standard that the cause of the fire is under investigation.
A spokesman for the hotel said: "The fire is being managed by the emergency services, in conjunction with the current owners of the building.
"The hotel was due to open as an ibis Styles in June this year. We understand that the building was safely evacuated."
