First wine-themed restaurant at sea
Cruise lines continue to roll out new amenities. One of the latest:
Silversea says it will begin offering the first Relais & Chateaux wine-themed restaurant at sea.
Dishes served in the alternative restaurants aboard Silversea ships will serve dishes designed to complement great wines.
“Guests will enjoy a different glass of wine with each course, so this will be a great opportunity to explore some very rare and expensive wines, while only paying a nominal fee to dine in the restaurant,” said Albert Peter, Silversea’s CEO.
Wines will be selected by Relais & Chateaux-trained sommeliers. Founded in France in 1954, Relais operates upscale hotels.
The new concept will debut next month on the Silver Whisper.
