Fish pedicure? Suck it and see…
Normally Travelmole shies away from promoting daft new spa treatments but it couldn’t resist a bite on this one.
All the rage in Asia apparently, the ladies of Kensington can now enjoy a totally new type of pedicure – fish therapy. Instead of a hard working spa worker shaving away at dead skin, tiny fish “gently suck and nibble away” at your feet instead. Travelmole is cringing as it writes this.
London’s first fish therapy concept spa, Aqua Sheko, opens in Kensington on June 7 so agents out there with upmarket, spa-loving clients should take note.
Founder of Aqua Sheko, Karen Ho, said: “Winter can be very punishing on our feet. It is easy to forget about your feet when you are hiding them away in boots but it’s essential that we look after them. Fish therapy is an enjoyable and relaxing way to remove a build up of dead skin and maintain smooth, good looking feet all year round.”
