Five new Flybe routes from Norwich
Flybe is expanding its network from Norwich with five new routes for next summer.
The low cost airline is adding Alicante, Faro, Guernsey, Jersey and Murcia, bringing its network from East Anglia up to 12 routes for 2006.
Prices start at £44.99 one-way to Alicante, Faro and Murcia while the Channel Islands services lead-in at £39.99.
A new Southampton to Palma service is also being introduced as part of the early launch of the airline’s summer 2006 programme. Flybe has put 725,000 seats on sale across 30 routes on the back of a claimed 28% growth in passengers in August over the same month last year.
Marketing and sales director Mike Rutter said: “With the early release of our new routes to Murcia and Faro and these additional key summer routes for next year, we are offering customers even more opportunities to take advantage of Flybe’s low fares, great destinations and convenient regional airports.
“We have rapidly expanded our network of routes available from Norwich since moving into the airport late last year, and are dedicated to increasing both our sun routes and domestic links offering from the region. We’re delighted that there is such strong demand for the summer 2006 routes and look forward to announcing the full schedule later in the year.”
