Flybe launches six new routes from Southend
Flybe will launch six new routes from London Southend Airport this summer, operated by its franchise partner Stobart Air.
Going on sale today, the routes are to Rennes and Caen Normandie in France, Groningen in the Netherlands, Antwerp in Belgium and M-¼nster Osnabr-¼ck and Cologne Bonn in Germany.
Services to Rennes, Groningen and M-¼nster Osnabr-¼ck will start on 5 June, with services to Cologne Bonn, Caen Normandie and Antwerp starting on 3 July.
In September, Flybe will double daily return flights on services to Antwerp and Rennes, meaning business and leisure passengers can now fly in the morning and return home the same day.
As part of its expansion at Southend, Flybe will also start a three-times weekly service to Newquay in May 2014.
